The Ammco Model 4000 brake lathe features twin cutter tools and quick drum-to-rotor changeover. Adjustable spindle speeds allow for easy rough cut/finish cut settings, and there's an infinitely adjustable spindle-feed gear box.

- Individual high torque gear motors used for driving drum and rotor tool carriages. An electronic module measures and controls the carriage feed speed. By varying the torque to the feed motor a constant feed speed is held. This provides an even finish even through hard spots and large variations in the surface.
- Automatic shutoff of the tool carriages.
- Adjustable work light and top storage space for tools.
The Kwik-Way Model 341 Brake Lathe is designed for medium and heavy duty trucks and buses. This brake lathe has greater working capacity and machining speed than any other automotive-priced brake lathe. Brake Lathe also has three Spindle Speeds (50, 80, and 120 RPM) with rapid change and GearFree Spindle Drive.
