The Model 1600 Knee Control Bender is Huth's entry level bender. The rugged, versatile 1600 is the same bender as in the HB-10 package. But it comes without the tooling, making it ideal for those who want to put together their own tooling packages or who already have tooling but want to replace or add a bender.
The 1600 delivers 58,000 lbs. of bending power - more than enough for 3" tubing. Bending is activated by a slim-design knee control pedal, allowing the operator to get close to the work for more precision. A foot pedal can be substituted for the knee pedal, if desired, at no charge. For a nominal charge, Huth will install a foot pedal and a knee pedal.
A manual depth-of-bend indicator clearly shows the operator how far into a bend he is at all times.
As with all Huth Benders, the 1600 features a built-in swager/expander for complete end-finishing - 1" to 3" tubing on the swager end and 1" to 5 1/2" tubing on the expander end. Ball joints, flanges, flares and slip joints are easily created. Huth's Accu-Sizer(tm) automatic bull's-eye expanding systems lets you dial in precise expansions every time.
The 1600 accepts all of Huth's standard tooling and accessories such as the Ready-Rak, Rod Bracket Bender and Oil Filter Crusher.

Model 2806 is designed for high volume shops that need quick, precise, bending and end finishing.The 2806 offers the convenience of a knee pedal control and a reduced size control panel. This allows the operator to get closer to the work area for more precision and less fatigue.
The Smart Automatic Mode features an adjustable return-to–home position control. This unique, timesaving feature increases efficiency by assuring fast and easy transitions between multiple bends.
Model 2806 comes with a 5 horse power motor and provides 58,000 LBS of bending force. An optional 7 ½ horse power motor is available for 25% faster bending.
In the automatic mode, the automatic depth-of-bend selector ensures precise bending control through the use of an easy-to-read, easy-to-adjust depth of bend plate.
The heavy duty swager/expander gives you complete end finishing capabilities. The swager end accommodates 1” to 3” tubing. The expander end allows for expansions from 1” to 5 ½”. With Huth’s Accu-Sizer bull’s-eye expanding system, you can dial in precise expansions every time.

HEAVY DUTY BENDER
MODEL 2600
The 2600 is designed for production work and bending heavier materials up to 3” OD. It meets the standards set by our other models for precise bending and end finishing.
The 2600 provides 85,000 lbs. of bending force in comparison to 58,000 lbs. produced by our other models. It comes standard with a 7-1/2 HP motor. A 3” tube bent to 90-degree in the automatic mode can be completed in 16 seconds.
The ergonomically designed knee control allows the operator hands-free control for quick tube location and securing of the tube. It is also invaluable for prototyping.
The smart automatic mode features an adjustable return-to-home position control. This unique, time saving feature increases efficiency by assuring fast and easy transitions between multiple bends. The automatic depth-of-bend selector ensures precise bending control through the use of an easy-to-read, easy-to-adjust depth-of-bend plate. This feature assures accuracy and repeatability.

Before Gerry Huth developed the first automotive pipe bender in the 1950s, fitting exhaust pipes was a difficult job that was beyond the means of many shops. Mechanics had to cut and weld pipe sections, making small bends manually. By 1958, Huth had developed the first prototype of the portable pipe bender. Soon, Huth was supplying benders to shops across the country. Huth Benders continue to lead the field more than 40 years later due to ongoing research and development, and strong commitment to quality and a responsiveness to the needs of a changing industry.
Tube & Pipe Bending
The value of portable, affordable tube and pipe benders was quickly evident when Huth first introduced them. With the increased number and variety of cars on the road in the last 40 years, that need has increased. With a Huth bender, it's not necessary to keep a variety of pre-bent pipes in inventory. With a few sizes of straight tubing on hand, you can quickly bend pipes for thousands of applications. You increase your profit margin and your customers don't have to wait for pre-bent pipes to be delivered.
Over the years, the value of a Huth bender has been realized for many other applications. Each year more and more Huth benders are supplied to businesses from small fabrication shops to full scale manufacturing.
