The new Robinair ® Model 34788 is the next generation refrigerant management system and meets all the stringent requirements of the new mandatory SAE J2788 standard, including new UL shop safety features. Robinair is the only manufacturer to offer a system that is  fully compliant with these new requirements.              

In accordance with the new standards, the Robinair  No.  34788 provides a recharging accuracy to within ±.50 oz.,  nearly twice the accuracy as any other unit on the  market. Also, the new Robinair unit is compatible with  both conventional and hybrid vehicles using electrically  driven compressors. The Robinair No. 34788 is designed  to give technicians access to optional vehicle data base  software and allows easy updates on refrigerant and  compressor oil capacities per vehicle.

 The new recovery unit is equipped with a slot for a SD  [Secure Digital] memory card to allow easy upgrades of  field software with essentially no downtime. It also has a  larger operator display screen and a new fold-down  control panel which allows for better storage. Productivity  and safety are the key attributes of the new unit.
